WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board, on October 12, 1982;
unanimously recommended the approval of employment past the
age of 72 for Marcos A. Kohly, publicity writer, Office of
Public Information; and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the
physical condition of said Marcos A. Kohly is satisfactory
for continued 0mp10yment;
NO1v', T11FREFORE, BE I1' RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A once (1) year extension of employment past
the nge of 72 is hure.bv granted for Marcos A. Kohly, public-
i.ty Writur, Office of P11b11c Information, effective June 13,
..1982 through June 1.3, 1983,.with the provision that in the
event of a rollback or layoff, Marcos A. Kohly, rather than
a junior employee would be affected.

C'v 1 Service Board ENCLOSURES from June 13, 1982 to June 13,1983.
At its meeting of October 12, 1982, the Civil Service Board considered
the request of Marcos A. Kohly, Publicity Writer in the Office of
Public Information, for an extension of employment past the age of
seventy two (72) for a period of one (1) year, to be effective June 13,
1982 to June 13, 1983.
The Board noted that Aida T. Levitan, Director, has recommended approv-
al of this request and that Dr. L.A. Toto, City Physician, had found
Mr. Kohly physically qualified to continue employment for the additional
year.
The Board voted to approve the requestf with the provision that in the
event of a rollback or layoff, Mr. Kohly, rather than a junior employee,
would be affected, noting that this is in accordance with past policy.
