A RESOLUTION ORDERING "KINLOCH SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT" AND DESIGNATING THE
PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESS-
MENTS SHALL BE '1ADE FOR A PORTION OF
THE COST THEREOF AS "KINLOCH SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5485-C
(CENTER -LINE SEWER)".
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a Sanitary Sewer improvement identified
as "KINLOCH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT" shall be made under the
provisions of Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as
amended, said improvement to consist of:
Laying an 8-inch or larger Vitrified Clay and/or Polyvinyl
Chloride Pipe Sanitary Sewer at or near the (centerline) of:
N.W. 6 Street from N.W. 42 Avenue to N.W. 43 Avenue
N.W. 5 Street from N,W. 42 Avenue to N.W. 45 Avenue
N.W. 4 Street from N.W. 42 Avenue to a point 300 feet
West of N.W. 43 Avenue
N.W. 3 Street from N.W. 42 Avenue to N.W. 47 Avenue
N.W. 2 Terrace from N.W. 42 Avenue to N.W. 43 Avenue
and from a point 200 feet East of N.W. 46 Avenue to a
point 200 feet West of N.W. 46 Avenue
N.W. 2 Street from N.W. 42 Avenue to N.W. 43 Avenue
N.W. 2 Street from N.W. 43 Place to N.W. 46 Avenue
N.W. 1 Street from N.W. 42 Avenue to N.W. 43 Avenue
West Flagler Street Allev_ from N.W. 42 Avenue to

Laying 6-inch cast iron and/or Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe
laterals, as required to the lots and parcels of land which
abut upon the above -mentioned streets, including the lots and
parcels of land described in Section 2 hereof; together with
necessary manholes, other appurtenances, pump stations, out -
fall, connections to existing sewers, relaying street pave-
ment, sidewalks, and curb and gutters where such relaying is
made necessary by this improvement.
Section 2. Special Assessments for a portion of the
cost of said "KINLOCH SANITARY SEWER I'IPROVEMENT" shall be
levied upon all the lots and parcels of land which abut
upon the above -mentioned streets, including the following
described lots and parcels of land, and such lots and parcels
of land are hereby designated "KINLOCH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT SR-5485-C (centerline sewer)".
To each of the lots and parcels of land which abut upon
the above -mentioned streets, including the following described
lots and parcels of land to the property line of which a sewer
lateral or laterals is laid, will be assessed (the average cost)
of that lateral or laterals, under the provisions of Section
56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended:

"KINLOCH SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT" ORDERING
RESOLUTION.
(For Commission Meeting
of November 4, 1982)
Resolution
The Department of Public Works
recommends the adoption of the
Ordering Resolution for the
construction of "KINLOCH SANI-
TARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SR-5485-C (centerline sewer) &
SR-5485-S (sideline sewer)".
This district consists of properties in an area bounded by N.W. 42
Avenue, N.W. 47 Avenue, N.W. 7 Street, and West Flagler Street.
The construction of this sanitary sewer improvement is part of the
City's continuing program to provide sanitary sewers throughout
the City of Miami.
The area is presently served by septic tank and drainfield instal-
lations which are to be abandoned by the property owners after
completion of the sanitary sewer system.
To serve this area, the Department of Public Works has designated
"KINLOCH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT" in "KINLOCH SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SR-5485-C (centerline sewer) and SR-5485-S (sideline sewer)"
as an assessable improvement under Section 56 of the City Charter.
Each property designated for assessment under the ordering resolution
will receive a sewer service lateral to the property line.
The "KINLOCH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT" is included in the 1980-
1986 Capital Improvement Program and will be constructed by a pri-
vate contractor under contract with the City of Miami. The estimated
total project cost is $1,400,000.00 and will be funded by General
Obligation Bonds which must be sold prior to the bidding.

permit bidding; by smaller contractors.
