Project C.A.R.E. (Continuum of Adapted Recreation Education) The purpose of this program is to develop and implement a rec- reation education program for approximately 150 disabled citi- zens. This program'is designed to evaluate each 'participant entering the program and determine their particular leisure time interests and abilities. Based on the of the eval- „results uation each person will participate in programs geared toward their interest and ability level. As their abilitiesandinter- est change and grow.they will advance in. the program. The ulti- mate goal of. project C.A.R.E. is self -independent recreational capabilities.
