It is recommended that the attached Resolution
appointing Rev. Jim McCartney as the represen-
tative of Biscayne College on the Initial Board
of Directors of the Miami Cable Access Corporation
be presented to the City Commission for their
consideration.
On June 24, 1982, the City Coiimiission appointed Miss Jean Bellamy to
z.erve on the Miami Cable Access Corporation (MCAC) upon the recommend-

Father Jim McCartney should be the appropriate representative for
Biscayne College.

Agreement, which are necessary prior to the incorporation of the MCAC,

Dear Mr. Merrill:
I wish to extend my sincere regrets that no one was able to represent
Biscayne College at the Miami Cable Access Corporation meeting yesterday.
Fr. Jim McCartney was out of town and I was unable to contact Ms. Bellamy.
I would like to request that Fr. Jim McCartney, Dean of the College,
be named Biscayne College's official member of the board. He has taken
a significant interest in this project and has premised to work actively
over the years ahead. Please keep him informed directly of future meetings,
etc.
Thanking you for your interest in Biscayne College and looking forward
to hearing from you soon.

Ms. Jeanne Bellamy
