A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) IN COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408; AND REMOVING ALL PENDING LIENS FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT NOT HEREBY CERTIFIED WHEREAS, the Commission of The City of Miami, Florida met on the 9th day of Decembor, 1982, pursuant to due legal notice of said meeting under Section 56 of the City Charter, as amended, to receive all written objections to the confirmation of the preliminary assess- ment roll for the cost of COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408 on the following streets: thin Highway from McFarlane Road to Franklin Avenue; Fuller Street from Main Highway to Grand Avenue; Commodore Plaza from Main Highway to Grand Avenue; Grand Avenue from Mary Street to 'McDonald Street. WHEREAS, no objections thereto by any person interested in, or affected by, said assessments were sustained by the Commission, and said assessment roll appeared, in all respects, regular and in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the City Charter, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the prima facie assessments, as apportioned and indicated on the preliminary assessment roll for COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS ARE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408 be, and they are hereby, in all things, confirmed and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground described therein. ctyy COMMISSION MEETING OF DEC 9 1982 N,�2-113� E 0 Section 2. That the sums and amounts assessed against each of the lots of parcels of ground in said preliminary assessment roll are less than the amount that each of the said lots or parcels of ground is especially benefited by said improvement and that such amounts are in proportion to the special benefits that the property received. Section 3. That the total assessment cost of said COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408 in the amount of $132,159.77 be, and the same is hereby approved and confirmed. Section 4. That any pending lien in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IIPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408 for highway improvements not appearing in the preliminary assessment roll and not certified hereby, be, and the same is hereby, cancelled and removed. COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) H-4408 - Resolution REFERENCES Confirming Assessment Roll ENCLOSURES (For Commission Meeting of December 9, 1982) The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the attached resolution confirming the preliminary assessment roll for COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT (2ND BIDDING) in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408. Construction of COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVE- MENT (2ND BIDDING) in COCONUT GROVE BUSINESS AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4408 has been completed, and the preliminary assessment roll for this improvement is ready to be presented to the Commission for confirmation. The construction of this highway improvement was on the following streets: Main Highway from McFarlane Road to Franklin Avenue; Fuller Street from Main Highway to Grand Avenue; Commodore Plaza from Main Highway to Grand Avenue; Grand Avenue from Mary Street to McDonald Street. The total assessment cost of the highway improvement amounts to $132,159.77. A public hearing is scheduled for December 9, 1982 to hear objections to confirmation of the assessment roll. If no objections are sustained, it will be in order for the Commission to adopt the resolution confirming the assessment roll.
