City Attorney
The attached Resolution formalizes a motion made earlier
today approving the appointment of nine members to the
Citywide Community Development Advisory Board. (Motion
82-1131)
The title of the Resolution (#82-560, June 17, 1982)
creating the present Board referred to a 21-member
Board; however, only 20 members were provided for in
that Resolution. Accordingly, we will prepare a resolution
for consideration at the neat meeting to provide that a
representative of the Garment District be appointed by
the City Commission. Upon adoption of that new resolution,
the following vacancies will then exist to be filled by
City Commission appointment:
1. A representative of a local banking or financial
institution
2. A local developer
3. A representative from the Garment District
