(CAMACOL) TO CONDUCT THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL GREAT FAIR ON THE GROUNDS OF THE ORANGE BOWL PARKING LOTS _ FEBRUARY 3 - 13, 1983; FURTHER CLOSING CERTAIN STREETS TO THROUGH VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ON SPECIFIED DATES DURING SPECIFIED HOURS, SAID STREET CLOSING SUBJECT TO ISSUANCE OF PERMITS BY THE POLICE AND FIRE, RESCUE AND INSPECTION SERVICES DEPARTMENTS; FURTHER GRANTING WAIVER OF PERMIT FEES FOR APPROXIMATELY 100 RIDES, CONCESSIONS AND BOOTHS; FURTHER REQUIRING CAMACOL TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, AS APPROVED BY THE CITY MANAGER, FOR THE USE OF SAID CITY FACILITY AND TO PAY THE REQUIRED FEE FOR SAID FACILITY; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF SAID CITY FACILITY WITH CAMACOL, SUBJECT TO THE CITY ATTORNEY'S APPROVAL AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS; FURTHER PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES, REGULATONS AND APPLICABLE CITY COMMISSION POLICIES SHALL BE ADHERED TO. WHEREAS, the Latin Chamber of Commerce of U.S.A. CAMACOL) has requested approval to conduct the Second International Great Fair, on February 3 through 13, 1983, and has requested the closing of certain streets to through vehicular traffic and the waiver of permit fees for approximately 100 rides, concessions and booths in connection with this event; and WHEREAS, the First International Great Fair was conducted last year without incident; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The request of the Latin Chamber of Commerce of U.S. A. (CAMACOL) to conduct the Second International Great Fair on the grounds of the Orange Bowl Parking Lots on February 3 through 13, 1983 is hereby approved. Section 2. Permit fees for the approximate 100 rides, concessions and booths in conjunction with this event are hereby waived. Section 5. CAMACOL shall execute an "Agreement for the Use of Municipal Facility" with the City of Miami for the use of the Orange Rowl Parking Lots for said event, as approved by the City Manager, and CAMACOL shall also pay the required rental fees for said facility and shall comply with all of the terms and conditions set forth in said agreement. Section 6. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the said "Agreement for the Use of Municipal Facility" with CAMACOL for the use of the Orange Bowl parking Lots for said event, ..subject to the City Attorney's approval as to form and correctness. Section 7. Except as otherwise provided herein, all ordinances, regulations and applicable City Commission policies shall be adhered to. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13 1983.
