RESOLUTION NO. 83-13
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF P.N.M. CORPORATION AT A TOTAL COST OF
$249,712.18 FOR ALLAPATTAH C014MUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV -
(BID "A" - HIGHWAYS); AND AUTHORIZING A
FINAL PAYMENT OF $31,244.52.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated October 28,
1981 between the City of Miami and P.N.M. Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and P.N.M. Corporation has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City 17anager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted
and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COILMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIANII, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by P.N.M.
Corporation for ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT -
PHASE IV -(BID "A" - HIGHWAYS) at a total cost of $249,712.18
is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized to pay $31,244.52 to P.N.M. Corporation
as full and final payment for all work performed and all
materials furnished in connection with ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV - (BID "A" - HIGHWAYS).

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolution accepting
the completed work and authorizing a final
payment of $31,244.52 to P.N.M. Corporation
for ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPI1ENT
PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV - (BID "A" -
HIGHWAYS)
P.N.14. Corporation has completed the project consisting of
constructing 0.5 mile of street, including asphaltic pavement,
concrete sidewalk, concrete curbs and/or gutters, covered
ditch drainage, and landscaping. The project is located in
an area bounded by N.W. 28 - 32 Streets between N.17. 23 - 24
Avenues. The original contract amount was for $282,954.77,
and the completed amount is $249,712.18. It was completed
on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are met.
