It is recommended that the City support the
Sixth Annual Open house and Festival by pro-
viding City services not to exceed $20,000.
The festival is scheduled on :March 6, 1983
on S. W. Eighth Street.
The Kiwanis Club of Little Havand is a nonprofit corporation and
has sponsored this event which annually attracts over 200,000
people. For the past five years this event has grown in attend-
ance and popularity and the entire community benefits from the
positive media coverage.
As part of the program certain streets will have to be closed
along S.W. Eighth Street. The closing of such streets is subject
to the issuance of permits by the Police and Fire Departments.
The Recreation Department recommends providing services not to
exceed $20,000 with a complete audit required from the grantee.
