ENCLOSURES: Reslutlon
It is recommended that the requirement for formal
sealed bids be waived and the agreement be renewed
with Wackenhut Security Systems for furnishing
maintenance of the Security System for one year
at a total cost of $13,200.00.
The Deprtment of Police has requested that the Security Maintenance
Agreement with Wackenhut Security Systems be renewed for one year
at a total cost of $13,200.00.
The new agreement does not include the Intercom System and the
Emergency Public Address System; and the City will be responsible
for the cost of replacement parts.
Because of the City's "original license agreement" with Wackenhut,
it would not be feaseable to purchase this service from another
source.
