Amendment No. 4 to Ordinance No. 9534
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 95349
ADOPTED DECEMBER 9, 1982, THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING
SEPTEMBER 309 1983; AS AMENDED; BY APPROPRIATING AN
AMOUNT OF $359000 FROM FEC BOAT DOCKAGE REVENUES TO
ESTABLISH THE FEC SITE INTERIM PARKING FACILITY
PROJECT (ITEM VI.C.1.) IN THE 1972 PARK AND RECREA-
TIONAL FACILITIES GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND FUND; AND BY
APPROPRIATING AN AMOUNT OF $15,000 FROM THE CONTINGENT
FUND AND AN AMOUNT OF $159000 FROM A CONTRIBUTION FROM
THE OFFSTREET PARKING BOARD TO ESTABLISH THE FEASIBILITY
STUDY FOR PARKING, FACILITY ON PLAYERS STATE THEATER SITE
PROJECT (ITEM XIII.C.1.) IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $30,000
IN THE PARKING CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND; CONTAINING A
REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 9534 on December 9, 1982,
establishing resources and appropriations for the implementation of Capital
Improvements in the City of Mi�a�mi, F1 da for the fiscal year ending September 30,
1983; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution 82-312 on April 1, 1982,
authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the Offstreet Parking
Authority for payment in the amount;of4=56;000 to help defray costs of construction
of an interim public parking facility at the`FZC site; and

WHEREAS, the amount of $35,000 is 0--be paid to Offstreet Parking from boat
dockage fees collected at the FEC site; and
WHEREAS, the amount of $35,000 is available from FEC Boat Dockage Revenues
appropriated in the FEC Park Acquisition (305003) capital project and can be
transferred to establish FEC Site Interim Parking Facility as a new project in the
1972 Park and Recreational Facilities General Obligation fiond-•_uand
WHEREAS, the Offstreet Par{:ing Authority has cond cte interna u ies that
indicate that the feasibility of�o multi -use parki fac lit on the Players State
Theater site at Main Highway and Cfi@rles Avenue in Coc� ve is worth pursuing;
and
WHEREAS, Secretary of State George, firestone has indicate a State of
Florida, owner of the site, is interested 1,,n cooperating its effort; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Res tion 82-llon December 16, 1982,
allocating $15,000 from the Contingent Fund as 5n% of the PctimatPrl tin nnn tntai
