AN ownwm APPROPR?ATING $50,000 TO THE "MME CABLE ACCESS CORPORATION" SPECIAL REVENUE FU M FOR rm FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEIMER 30, 1983; CONTAINING A REPIEMM PFOTISION AND A SEVERA- BILITY CLAUSE. VaT,FTAS, Section 402(b) of Ordinance No. 9332, adopted October 19, 1981, states that the City Commission shall establish an independent nonprofit com- rmnity access corporation to be known as the "Miami Cable Access Corporation" C'MCAC") to manage and allocate the use of the nonmunicipal public access channels of the System; and wEmEM , resolution No. 82-303, ado�n the first day of April, 1982, provides for the establishmnt of14 five„(,5 i',Al oard to undertake the hiring ' Kn of a consultant to prepare thq,,it= icles 6-f -Incorporation and By -Laws for the Miami Cable Access Corporation; and ,,•<� Vim, the $50,000 appropriation would bj-12Spd to compensate the consultant for the aforementioned work and to cover inciden-OT'developing the Articles of Incorporation and By -Laws; and WHEREAS, the $50,000 shall be reimbursed from the $200 inert -up funds to be contributed by the cable licensee for the Miami a Access Cad ation r' pursuant to Section 403 of Ordinance No. 9332; and M EREAS, Ordinance No. 9405, adopted April 1, 1982, establi ed a special revenue fund entitled: "Miami Cable Access Corporation"riated thereto a sum of $50,000 from anticipated revenues to be contribu the cable licensee for 11MAC" start-up costs; and .
