Antler Uniform of New York provided the lowest
bid for item 1, jacket. However, it is rec-
ommended that the award be made to Lamar
Uniforms, which can provide local service
(fitting) and quicker delivery at a cost of
only fifteen cents ($0.15) per unit over the
lowest bid.
The lowest bid from Julie Hat Company for
item 2, Tee -Shirt, is not acceptable as it
fails to meet the fabric specification of
50% combed cotton. The next lowest bidder,
for this item, Miami Silk Screen, meets all
specifications and is recommended.
For item 3, baseball caps, an 8-stitch, pro-
style visor was specified. None of the bids
received conforms to specifications. This
item will be rebid.
