A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF
MET CONSTRUCTION, INC. AT A TOTAL COST OF
$13,161.00 FOR ORANGE BOWL - PUMP STATION
MODIFICATIONS - ROOF REPLACEMENT - 1982; AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $3,566.10.
WHEREAT,, there exists a contract dated July 27, 1982
between the City of Miami and MET Construction, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and MET Construction, Inc. has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and
final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO1MISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by MET
Construction, Inc, for ORANGE B01,-JL - PUMP SATATIO14 MODIFICATIONS -
ROOF REPLACEMENT - 1982 at a total cost of $13,161.00 is hereby
approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized to pay $3,566.10 to MET Construction, Inc.
as full and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished in connection with ORANGE BOWL - PUMP STATION
MODIFICATIONS ROOF REPLACEMENT - 1982.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18 day of MARCH 11983.

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolution accepting
the completed work and authorizing a final
payment of $3,566.10 to MET Construction,
Inc, for ORANGE BOIL - PUMP STATION
MODIFICATIONS - ROOF REPLACEMENT - 1982.
■ MET Construction, Inc. has completed the project consisting
., of removing the existing roof, joints, decking and roofing
material and replacing with new, including a new fire rated
dry wall ceiling. The pump station is located at N.W. 7 St.
and N.W. 17 Place. The original contract amount was for
$13,161.00, and the completed amount is $13,161.00. It was
completed on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are met.
