RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE DEEPEST
SYMPATHY AND SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE
CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI AND ITS CITIZENS TO THE FAMILY AND
FRIENDS OF DAN BRENNAN UPON HIS DEATH.
WHEREAS, Dan Brennan, a quiet and modest man who shunned
praise and served for the last three years as organizer of
the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Miami, passed away
unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 1983; and
WHEREAS, during the six years that Dan Brennan resided
in the City of Miami, he always exemplified profound
dedication to his professional activities, invariably
touching the lives of countless thousands of his fellow
Miamians;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby conveys to the
family and friends of Dan Brennan its deepest sympathy and
sincerest condolences, on behalf of the citizens of the City
of Miami, upon his death.
Section 2. This Resolution is offered by the City
Commission as a token of its respect and esteem.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of March ,1983.
