A RESOLUTION URGING THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT TO INVESTIGATE THE
ACTIVITIES OF FIDEL CASTRO'S
INTELLIGENCE FORCE IN THE CITY OF
MIAMI AND OTHER CITIES TO INSURE
THE SAFETY OF MEMBERS AND LEADERS
OF THE CUBAN COMMUNITY IN EKLIE;
FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO FORWARD COPIES OF THIS RESOLU-
TION TO THE HEREIN NAMED PUBLIC
OFFICIALS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Federal government is hereby urged to
investigate the activities of Fidel Castro's Intelligence
Force in the City of Miami and other cities to insure the
safety of members and leaders of the Cuban Community in Exile.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
copies of this Resolution to the President of the United
States, the United States Attorney General, the President of
the United States Senate, the Speaker of the United States
House of Representatives, and members of the Congressional
Delegation representing any part of Dade County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18 day of MARCH , 1983.
