HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem #37 - First Reading OrdinanceJ ►83= 186 'I ORDINANCE NO. / AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9500 (UPON BECOMING EFFECTIVE), THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY APPLYING THE HC-1 GENERAL USE HERITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT TO "THE VARIETY SHOP/THE GREAT A & P TEA COMPANY," 3033-35 GRAND AVENUE, (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN); MAKING FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING ATLAS MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 9500, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE 3, SECTION 300, THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of February 16, 1983 Item No. 2, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 20-83 by a 5 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of applying the HC-1: GENERAL USE Ebb ITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT to subject property, jas h"p-reinafter set forth; and r. WHEREAS, the City Commission afj��.-' careful consideration of t this matter deems it advisable and n the best interest of the general welfare of the City of,..Miami and its inhabitants to grant this application as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Ordinance No. 9500, adopted September 23, 1982, as amended, the Zning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, is hereby mended by applying the HC-l: GENERAL USE HERITAGE CONSE�VATJON OVERLAY DISTRICT to "THE VARIETY TY SHOP/THE GREAT A & P TEA CO.," located at 3033-35 Grand Avenue, more particularly described as, beginning 167 feet west of the southeast corner of Block 14, north 221 feet, west 55 feet, south 221 feet, east 55 feet to the point of beginning and Tract A less Tract B, of the plat of FDWj recorded in Plat Book A at Page 45, of tl Florida; further, the City I property embodies appropriatel CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF MAR 2 4 OhWG4AA%,' W. ...... 2nd READING....... .....
