AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, AS AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, BY APPLYING THE HC-2: RESIDENTIAL OFFICE HERITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT TO THE "DR. EMERSON W. AYARS HOUSE," BEING APPROXIMATELY 3041 OAK AVENUE, (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN); MAKING FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2, THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of January 19, 1983, Item No. 12, following an advertised hearing, voted on a motion RECOMMENDING THE DENIAL OF applying the HC-2: RESIDENTIAL OFFICE USE HERITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT to I subject property, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, said motion failed by a vote of 3 to 2, consti- tuting a Recommendation of Denial under the Planning Advisory i Board's Rules of Procedure; and WHEREAS, the City Commission notwithstanding the PAB action, J and after careful gonsioeration of this :natter, deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant this application as ti hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAI OF� MIAMI., 'FLOR-16A: Section 1'.
