Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance fio. 9502, adopted Septel;rber 23, 19825
the annual appropriations ordinance for the fiscal gear ending September 30,
1983, as amended, is hereby rurther amended in the following particulars: 1/
"Section 1. The following appropriations are made
for the r.urnicipal operation of the City or Mliami,
Florida, for the fiscal vear 1982-83, including
t:he pavment of principal and interest on all

Section 2. The herein appropriation of 536,150 for the Community
Development Department is for the purpose of funding a Mobile Citizens Service
Van, cost 520,650, hire one additional staff person to operate said Van for the
remainder of this fiscal year, cost 510,500 and a brochure to be distributed to
the community announcing the Van's location, cost 55,000, total cost 536,150.
The funding needed to accomplish same is available from Special Programs and
Accounts Contingency Fund.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofa- as they are
inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance -tre hereby
repealed.

increasing the funding for the Community
Development Department in the amount of $36,150.
At the December 9, 1982 Commission meeting, a motion (M-82-1088) was passed
instructing the City Manager to fund the acquisition and operation of a mobile
citizens service van. The attached ordinance accomplishes same.
