ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, AS
AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, BY APPLYING THE HC-1:
GENERAL USE HERITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY
DISTRICT TO "THE PAGODA," 3575 MAIN HIGHWAY,
(MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN); MAKING
FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY
CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A
PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE
AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 21
THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE
SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT AND
CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of
January 19, 1983, Item No. 8, following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 10-83, by a 5 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL of applying the HC-1: GENERAL USE HERITAGE CONSERVATION
OVERLAY DISTRICT to subject property, as hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after. careful consideration of
this matter deems it advisable and in the best interest of the
general welfare of the City tf Miami and its inhabitants to grant
this application as hereinaf4r'aet forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. O;A'nance No. 6871, as amended, the Compre-
hensive Zoning Ordinantiee;of the City of Miami, is hereby amended
by applying. the HC r. -I) Jeneral Use Heritage Conservation Overlay

District t "THE PAC pAt" 3575 Main Highway, more particularly
described its 14t 14, lying southeast of Main Highway, less the
triangular portion,, northwest of County Road, and submerged land
lying southeast.to the bulkhead line, of the plat of MUNROE'S
PLAT, as recorded in Plat Rook D at Page 253, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida; further, finding that the
subject property: embodies thoFa Ai**i"M1%i V1n4"..
of an architectural style, or
