RESOLUTION NO. -~'
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY L.G.H. CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
AT A TOTAL COST OF $122,210.94 FOR SWIMMING
POOL - RENOVATIONS - 1982; AND AUTHORIZING
A FINAL PAYMENT OF $14,435.94.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated August 10,
1982 between the City of Miami and L.G.H. Construction
Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the original contract was increased on
March 18, 1983 by Resolution No. 83-224 in the amount of
$5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and L.G.H. Construction Corporation has furnished the re-
quired documents certifying that all bills for labor and
materials have been paid in full in connection with the
aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted
and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by L.G.H.
Construction Corporation for SWIMMING POOL - RENOVATIONS -
1982 at a total cost of $122,210.94 is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are herewith authorized to pay $14,435.94 to L.G.H.
Construction Corporation as full and final payment for all
work performed and all materials furnished in connection
with SWIMMING POOL - RENOVATIONS - 1982.

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolution accepting
the completed work and authorzing a final
payment of $14,435.94 to L.G.H. Construction
Corporation for SWIMMING POOL - RENOVATIONS -
1982.
L.G.H. Construction Corporation has completed the project Con-
sisting of modifications to the pump room at Curtiss Park Pool,
including the repair of baffles system and three existing
filter tanks, and replacement of conduit and electrical wiring
around the perimeter of the pool at Curtiss Park, located at
2300 N. W. North River Drive; also, modifications to the pump
room, installing new filters and new pool lighting system at
Morningside Park Pool, located at 850 N. E. 55 Terrace.
The original contract amount was $119,750.00, and was increased
by Resolution No. 83-224 in the amount of $5,000.00 on March 18,
1983. The completed amount is $122,210.94, and it was com-
pleted on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are
met.
