With our present equipment, we have been required to individually test each enlarged photograph which required the extensive use of very expensive chem- icals and many man hours. This photographic printer will enable us to omit this testing procedure and also automatically enlarges the print to three different sizes in a matter of minutes. This equipment will be used by our fire photographer who responds to major emergency calls, rescue operations and arson investigations. Many of these photographs are used in recruit training as well as in-service training. Funds for this purchase are provided in Proj. #350076-280113-840, which is the Fire Training Facility appropriation from Fire Bonds. S3-11V13 i i ITEM: DEPARTMENT: TYPE OF PURCHASE: REASON.
