WHEREAS, the Commission of The City of Miami, Florida met on the 12th day of May, 1983, pursuant to due legal notice of said meeting under Section 56 of the City Charter, as amended,to receive all written objections to the confirmation of the preliminary assessment roll for the cost of N.W, 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT in N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 11-4437 on the following area: N.W. 20 Street to N.W. 18 Terrace, from N.W. 32 R Avenue to Delaware Parkway; and WHEREAS, no objections thereto by any person interested in, or affected by, said assessments were sustained by the Commission, and said assessment roll appeared, in all respects, regular and in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the City Charter, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COIZIISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, Section 1. That the prima facie assessments, as apportioned and indicated on the preliminary assessment roll for N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT in N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4437 be, and they are hereby, in all things, confirmed and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground described therein. Section 2. That the sums and amounts assessed against each of the lots or parcels of ground in said preliminary assessment roll are less than the amount that each of the said lots or parcels of ground is especially benefited by said improvement and that such amounts are in nroportion to the special benefits that the property received. That the total assessment cost of said N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT in N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4437 in the amount of $4,456.88 be and the same is hereby, approved and confirmed. Section 4. That any pending lien in N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEALK IMPROVEMENT in N.W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4437 for sidewalk improvements not appearing in the preliminary assessment roll and not certified hereby, be, and the same is hereby, cancelled and removed. W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVE- MENT in the N. W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4437. Construction of N. W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT in the N. W. 20 STREET AREA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4437 has been completed, and the preliminary assessment roll for this improvement is ready to be presented to the Commission for confirmation. The construction of this side.. walk improvement was on the following streets: N. W. 20 Street to N. W. 18 Terrace, from N. W. 32 Avenue to Delaware Parkway. The total assessment cost amounts to $4,456.88. A public hearing is scheduled for May 12, 1983 to hear objec- tions to confirmation of the assessment roll. If no objections are sustained, it will be in order for the Commission to adopt the resolution confirming the assessment roll.
