HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-83-0495J-83-450 rr RESOLUTION NO. 93-1-IfR S' A RESOLUTION REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE FEDERAL LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND PROGRAM FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF BAYFRONT PARK. WHEREAS, the City is in the process of redeveloping Bayfront Park; and WHEREAS, funds are available on a 50/50 matching basis from the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund for park development; and WHEREAS, the match requirement will be met through donations from private developers; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Commission hereby requests financial assistance from the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund for the Bayfront Park Redevelopment Project. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9n day of TEST: RAL G. The Parks Department has been notified of the availability of funds for park redevelopment through the Land and Water Con- servation Fund Program. The department has originated a grant application for a $1,000,000 project to complete the redevelopment of Bayfront Park on a 50/50 matching basis.
