A RESOLUTION PERMITTING THE APPLICANT FOR THE LINCOLN/NASHER PROJECT, LOCATED AT APPROXI- MATELY 701-799 BRICKELL AVENUE, TO PROCEED TO FILE: A FINAL APPLICATION FOR MAJOR USE SPECIAL, PERMIT WITH THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING; PROVIDING CAVEATS; AND ESTABLISHING 2:30 P.M., THURSDAY, SEI'T. 22, 1983, AS THE PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE; FINAL APPLICATION FOR tMAJOR USE SPECIAL PERMIT. rvElERLAS, Article 28 of Ordinance No. 9500, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, requires developers of Major Uses, as defined, to apply for, and receive, a MMajor Use Special Permit before applying for a building permit; and WHEREAS, the Lincoln/Nastier Project, located at approxi- mately 701-799 Brickell Avenue, meets the criteria for Major Use designation, as set forth in said Ordinance and Article at Section 2801; and WHEREAS, the Miami Planninga Advisory Roard, at its meeting of July 6, 1983, by a 5 to 0 vote, after reviewing the Prelimin- ary Application for Major Use Special Permit, recommended that the developer be permitted to proceed to file a Final Application for Major Use Special Permit; and WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Preliminary Application for Major Use Special Permit and considered any additional conferences, referrals, or materials that may be required prior to consideration of the Final Application for Major Use Special Permit; NOW, THLREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF' THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIGA; Section 1. The applicant for the Lincoln/Nastier Project, located at approximately 701-799 Brickell Avenue, may proceed to file a Final Application for Major Use Special Permit with the Director of Planning. This resolution is not to be deemed approval of the development proposal.. Section 3. The Commission hereby establishes 2:30 P.M., Thursday, Sept. 22 , 1983, as the date for a public hearing for consideration of. the Final Application for Major Use Special Permit for the Lincoln/Hasher Project, located at approximately 701-799 Brickell Avenue. Gary City Manager S rgio Rodriguez, director Planning Department DATE July 1, 1983 FILE TPreliminary Application for Major Use Special Permit r,RPwHCN(:t, Lincoln/hasher Project, 701-799 Brickell Avenue Consideration of the Preliminary Application for Major Use Special Permit and permission for the applicant to file a Final Application for Major Use Special Permit for the Lincoln/ Nasher Project, 701-799 Brickell Avenue and establishing a public hearing date for con- sideration of the Final Application for Major Use Special Permit, per Zoning Ordinance 9500, Article 28 Section 2802.2.2, per the attached resolution. The Planning Advisory Board, on July 6, 1983, is expected to recommend that the developer of the Lincoln/Hasher Project, 701-799 Brickell Avenue, be permitted to proceed to file a Final Application for Major Use Special Permit. It is recommended that the Commission review the Preliminary Applica- tion and allow the applicant to proceed to file a Final Application for Major Use Special Permit. It is further recommended that the Commission establish 2:30 PM 'tursday, July 28, 1983, as the public hearing date to consider the Final Application.
