The event is entitled "Love and Kindness Day." Mr. Robinson projects an attendance of 10,000 people. Three perspectives of Love and Kindness will be addressed; the social, the religious and the political. Prominent speakers will address the crowd on these subjects and entertainment by national and local artists will be presented. Dade County is providing the free use of the park and show - mobile unit and have pledged $3,000 toward this event. Their budget totals $11,097 of which $6,200 is earmarked for talent fees, $3,500 for Public Relations and $1,397 for pro- duction costs. There is no specific amount of cash requested, and we surmise the event is free. Since this event will be held at a County park it should be considered a County event and funded accordingly. No funds are recommended. Reza croblems have been addressed on several levels from the local city council to the U. S. congress. Yet, at no level has tca :roblem been addressed as lack of basic Love and Kindness. L R Productions proposes to deal with the problem at this level. SOO?;' OF SZRVICu To cc=bat the present negativity in our community, L R Productions is proposing a "Love and Kindness Day". Tb.i3 event tirill bring together over ten thousand residents from this community and vrill last for six hours. We will address the significance of Love and Kindness from three perspectives: social- , • -L.. ly, religious y and politically. There will be prominent persons from each mentioned-cat-eaory who will speak on Love and Kindness as it relates to their particular sector. Thin event will be the first of its kind in this area. At the con- clusion of the event, over ten thousand residents will return to their neighborhoods armed with the knowledge that Love and Kind- neza is indeed the key to solving our community problems. Winston Rudolph and others asking them to speakon this program. We have selected two local bands to appear on the show. These groups have demononsta- ted tte most positive repertoire of music.
