Sect ion 1 , An amount_ not t.o exceed $35,000 is hereby
allocated from Special Proqrams and Accounts, Continejent
Fund, in support of the Proqram of the Latin C-amber of
Commerce of the United States (CAMACTIL) for preparation,
coordination and supervision of the Fourth Hemispheric
Congress of Latin Chambers of Commerce and Industry to be
held September 7-10, 1983 in Miami, Florida.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute an agreement, subject to the City Attorney's approval
as to form and correctness, to implement the herein
al loc.at ion.

It is recommended that the attached
Resolution be passed authorizing the
City Manager to execute an agreement
between the City of Miami and the
Latin Chamber of Commerce of the
United States CAMACOL to prepare,
coordinate and supervise the Fourth
Hemispheric Congress of Latin Chambers
of Commerce and Industry to be held
September 7-10, 1983 in Miami, Florida,
with funds therefor hereby allocated
from Contingent Funds, Special Programs
and Accounts in an amount not to exceed
$35,000.
On July 18, 1983, pursuant to Motion No.83-560, the City Commission approved a
request for funding in the amount of $35,000. to the Latin Chamber of Commerce
of the United States (CAMACOL) in order to prepare, coordinate and supervise the
Fourth Hemispheric Congress of Latin Chambers of Commerce and Industry to be
held September 7-10, 1983.
This proposed Resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement
for the above metnioned purpose.
