The City Commission approved by Motion No. 83-722 of July 28, 1983, the allocation of an amount not to exceed $2,000 to facilitate the purchase of tickets for the "Jamaican Independence Dance Troup", said tickets are to be given to school children to attend the theatre presentation "Two Can Play." It is beneficial to the cultural and recreational image of the City to encourage international cultural exchange to improve the quality of life of the City residents. Therefore, this department recommends that Motion No. 83-722 be ratified and confirmed allocating an amount not to exceed $2,000 in order to facilitate the purchase of tickets for the "Jamaican Independence Dance Troup."
