WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of June 20, 1983, Item No. 2, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZB 103-83 by a 5 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING official vacation and closure of: that portion of Northwest 1st Avenue west as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it is in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure of the street and deems it advisable to do so; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That portion of Northwest 1st Avenue west lying south of the south right-of-way line of Northwest 1st Street and north of the north right-of-way line of West Flagler Street, for a distance of + 290.161; as a condition of approval of tentative plat #1201 "DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT CENTER FIRST ADDITION", is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned, and discontinued for public use.
