A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING
AND DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THAT
PORTION EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF NORTHWEST
'19TH AVENUE (LYING WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI), SOUTH OF THE
SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF NORTHWEST 415`r
STREET AND NORTH OF THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF STATE ROAD 112 (AIRPORT EXPRESSWAY)
FOR A DISTANCE OF + 242'; AS A CONDITION OF
APPROVAL OF TENTATIVE PLAT # 1192 "EARLINGTON
HEIGHTS STATION".
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of April 18,
1983, Item No. 4, following an advertised hearing, adopted
Resolution ZB-63-83 by a 5 to 0 vote RECOMMENDING official
vacation and closure of a street as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the
best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure of the street in
question;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE; CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That portion east of the center line of
Northwest 19th Avenue (lying within the corporate limits of the
City of Miami), south of the south right-of-way line of Northwest
41st Street and north of the north right-of-way line of State
Road 112 (Airport Expressway) for a distance of + 2421; as a
condition of approval of tentative plat #1192 (EARLINGTON HEIGHTS
STATION" is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and discontinued
for public use.

The Zoning Board, at its meeting of April 18, 1983, Item 4, following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution ZB 63-83, by a 5 to 0 vote, recommending approval of
the vacation and closure of that portion east of the centerline of NW 19 Avenue
(lying within the corporate limits of the City of Miami), south of the south right-
of-way line of NW 41 Street and north of the north right-of-way line of State Road
112 (Airport Expressway) for a distance of + 2421; as a condition of approval of
Tentative Plat #1192 "EARLINGTON HEIGHTS STATION".
Two objections received in the mail; one opponent present at the meeting; two
proponents present at the meeting.
Backup information is included for your review.
A RESOLUTION to provide for the above has been prepared by the City Attorney's
Office and submitted for consideration of the City Commission.

PLANNING DEPT. APPROVAL. The vacation and closure of the right-
o way relates to the construction of a metrorail
station and therefore the Department has no
opposition to this closure.
PUBLIC WORKS Dedication is required by plat.
ZONING BOARD Recommended Approval by adopting Resolution ZB 63-83
