THIS CONDITIONAL USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH A
CONDITIONAL USE FOP. EXPANSION OF A NURSING
HOME AND A VARIANCE FOR A WAIVER OF OFF-
STREET PARKING SPACES.
WHEREAS, Article XXXII of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
No. 6871, permits an extension of a conditional use by the City
Manager with approval of the City Commission, for a one year
period; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the extension of the
conditional use granted by Zoning Board Resolution No. XB-59-83.
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request for a one-year extension of a
conditional use as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V,
Section 1(6)(b) to permit construction of an 80 space open
parking lot for the parking of private passenger vehicles on Lots
4 through 13 inclusive, Block 2, ALTA VISTA CORRECTED (6-4) and
Tract "D" DOUGLAS GARDENS AMD. (11.0-68), also described as
approximately 71-125 NE 51 Street and approximately 80-120 NE 52
Street, as per plans on file, as an accessory use to the Miami
Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged located at 151 NE 52

It is recommender' that a request
for an Extension of Time for the
Conditions Use granted by the
Zoning Board for 151 NE 52 Street
be approved.
The Zoning Board, at its meeting of April 18, 1983, Item 10, following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution ZB 59-83 by a 5 to 0 vote, granting the request for a
conditional use to permit construction of an 80-space open parking lot for the
parking of private passenger vehicles on Lots 4 through 13 inclusive, Block 2,
ALTA VISTA CORRECTED (6-4) and Tract "D", DOUGLAS GARDENS AMD. (110-68), also
described as approximately 71-125 NE 51 Street and approximately 80-120 NE 52
Street, as per plans on file, as an accessory use to the Miami Jewish Home and
Hospital for the Aged_located at 151 NE 52 Street; the N 107.55' of Tract "D",
DOUGLAS GARCENS AMD (110-68) are zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple Dwelling);
Lots 4 through 8 inclusive, Block 2, ALTA VISTA CORRECTED (6-4) are zoned R-2
(Two Family Dwelling); Lots 9 through 13, Block 2, ALTA VISTA CORRECTED (6-4)

The Planning Department has no objection to the granting of the extension for
this Conditional Use.
Vie are requesting the City Attorney's Office, by copy of this memo, to prepare
the proper Resolution for this extension.
