"It is recommended that Woodson Park, E-2C
at N.E. 36 Street and 2nd Avenue, be
renamed 'The Miami Design Plaza'."
In the Fall of 1982, the Miami Design Plaza Merchants Association
arranged to have Woodson Park, a small traffic triangle, redesigned
at no cost to the City. The Merchants Association feels that this
mini -park is a gateway to the design district and that the new, name
and appropriate signage would better reflect the nature of the'District.
The Miami Memorial Committee expressed its approval for the renaming
