TO VHE7r'E- E E. the :i tv Comi:il ss? cn ?dc:;`c--d Resolution 'Io. 8'3-33a on ,Dri l 5, :9�3* . the -Dv Diu "cr4 z`na the Cit.' �`anaaer tc submit a grant -z i i cati cn to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the proposed Com- munity Development Block Grant Program during 191133-84, and WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 83-491 on June 9, 1983, thereby allocating Ninth Year Community Development Funds to approved social service programs and further authorizing the City Manager to enter into contract with the aforementioned social service programs, and WHEREAS, Catholic Community Services, Inc. --Little Havana Outreach Office was included among the approved social service agencies and was allo- cated Ninth Year Community Development Funds in the amount of S67,70O, and WHEREAS, Catholic Community Services, Inc. --Little Havana Outreach Office addressed the City Commission and indicated that additional funds were needed to continue program operations, and I-IHEP.EAS, the City Commission adopted Motion No. 83-475 on June 9, 1983, which granted the amount of $6,000 to Catholic Community Services, Inc. -- Little Havana Outreach Office; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIP111, FLORIDA: Section 1. $$6,000 from the General Fund -Special Programs and Accounts, are hereby allocated to Catholic Community Services, Inc. --Little Havana Outreach Office, for the period July 1, 1983 through June 30, 1984. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to amend the Ninth Year Community Development contract with Catholic Community Services, Inc. -- Little Havana Outreach Office to include the aforementioned allocation, thereby increasing the maximum compensation under the contract to $73,700 for the continuation of program operations subject to the conditions and limitations specified herein and applicable provisions of the City Code. Catholic Community Services, Inc. --little Havana Outreach Office was allocated S67,700 to operate a counseling/information/referral program with 9th Year Community Development Block Grant Funds. This Agency appeared before the City Commission and indicated that an additional S6,000 was needed to maintain services at the existing levels. The City Commission passed Motion No. 83-475 which allocated $6,000 to the Agency from the General Fund --Special Programs and Accounts.
