Bc�,in;;ing October 26, all schools will b�-- expected to select contestants, hold eliAnar_ions and send the no.res of winning participants to cLv.:pete for County prizes. All schools planning to participate sh:,uld send the name of the school and sponsor to Bco%er T. Washington Junior High School, by October 26. Again this year, there will be winners selected in elementary, junior hi'�h and senior high divisions. Also, special awards w ll be given to students who give outstanding performances. Washington Junior High All Areas A cornmunity prograin, featuring winners will be presented in December amd again in February 1964. All interested persons may call 324-8900, Mrs. Marian H. Shannon or Mr. Cyrus Rayford for additional information about the contest. Mrs. Nancy S. Dawkins is the connranity liaison coordinator for the contest. Contestants may select poetry, prose or essays on the black experience or they may write their oa.,nn presentations.
