ENCLOSURES.
It is recommended that an allocation not to exceed
$1,000.00 from the Contingency Fund, Special Pro-
grams and Accounts, to cover the cost of round-trip
plane tickets from Miami to Santo Domingo for five
players of the Tony Taylor Baseball Academy to
compete in the Caribbean Little League Series, be
ratified, approved, and confirmed, per the attached
resolution.
The Tony Taylor Baseball Academy, founded in 1973, currently provides
instruction and competition for approximately 110 boys between the
ages of 7 to 15 years at the City of Miami Fern Isle Park.
Academy representatives requested and subsequently received approval
via :lotion 93-642, funding to cover the cost of round-trip plane tickets
from Miami to Santo Domingo, for five players of the academy to compete
in the Caribbean Little League Series.
This funding, not to exceed $1,000.00, is available from the Contingency
Fund, Special Programs and Accounts.
It is, therefore, recommended that the aforementioned allocation be
formally ratified, approved and confirmed, as per the attached resolu-
tion.
