A RESOLUTIO14 ORDERING CITY-WIDE SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT - S.W. 16 STREET SR-5499-C
DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A
PORTIO14 OF THE COST THEREOF AS CITY-WIDE
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT-S.W. 16 STREET
SR-5499-C (CENTERLINE SEWER)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a sanitary sewer improvement identified as
CITY-WIDE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT-S.W. 16 STREET SR-5499-C
shall be made under the provisions of Section 56 of the Charter
of the City of Miami, as amended, said improvement to consist
of:
Laying an 8" inch or larger Vitrified Clay and/or Iron Pipe
Sanitary Sewer at or near the centerline of S.W. 16 Street from
S.W. 22 Avenue to S.W. 27 Avenue.
Laying six-inch (611) cast iron pipe laterals as required to
the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the above -mentioned
streets, including the lots and parcels of land described in Section
2 hereof; together with necessary manholes, other appurtenances,
pump stations, outfall, connections to existing sewers, relaying
street pavement, sidewalks, and curb and gutters where such relaying
is made necessary by this improvement.
Section 2... Special Assessments for a portion of the cost of
said CITY-WIDE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT-S.W. 16 STREET SR-5499-C
shall be levied upon all the lots and parcels of land which abut
upon the above -mentioned streets, including the following described
lots and parcels of land, and such lots and parcels of land are
hereby designated CITY-WIDE SANITARY SEWER-IMPROVEMENT-S.W. 16 STREET
DISTRICT SR-5499-C (CENTERLINE SEWER).
To each of the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the
above -mentioned streets, including the following described.lots and
parcels of land to the property line of which a sewer lateral or

Section 3. This improvement shall be designated in all proceed-
ings and assessments as CITY-WIDE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT-S.W. 16
STREET SR-5499-C, and the above described properties, including all
the lots and parcels of land abutting the streets described in Section
1 hereof against which assessments shall be made for a portion of the
cost thereof, hereunder, shall be designated as CITY-WIDE SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT-S.W. 16 STREET SR-5499•-C (CENTERLINE SEWER).

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of a Resolution rescinding
Resolution No. 83-961 entitled A RESOLUTION
ORDERING CITY-WIDE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVE-
MENT-S.W. 16 STREET" and designating the
property against which special assessments
shall be made for a portion of the cost
thereof as CITY-WIDE SANITARY SEWER IM-
PROVEMENT-S.W. 16 STREET SR-5499-C (CENTER-
LINE SEWER).
On October 25, 1983, the City Commission adopted Resolution No.
83-961 ordering City -Wide Sanitary Sewer Improvement-S.W. 16
Street SR-5499-C (Centerline Sewer) and designating the properties
against which a special assessment shall be made for a portion of
the cost of such construction.
Some properties inadvertently were left out of the district
boundaries. In order to include all properties in this project, it
is necessary to rescind the Ordering Resolution No. 83-961 and adopt
a new Ordering Resolution including all properties. A new Ordering
Resolution is being submitted which will add the properties in
question (per attached).
