A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALL TYPE
PROJECTS, INC. IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF
$244, t70, BASE BID OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR
DINNER KEY MARINA - DOCKIMASTER'S OFFICE
RENOVATION; WITH IMONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED
FROM THE ".MAJOR MAINTENANCE - DINNER KEY
;MARINA" ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $244,870
TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING
FROM SAID FUND THE AlIOUNT OF $14,692 TO
COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE;
ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF
$4,898 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS
ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES, AND
POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING TIIE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTPACT 1IITH SAID FIRM
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received November 16, 1983
DINNER KEY MARINA - DOCKI•ITiSTER'S OFFICE RENOVATION; and
WHEREAS, the City IManager and the Director of the
Department of Public Works recommend that the bid received
from All Type Projects, Inc. be accepted as the lowest
responsible and responsive bid;
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Appropriation
Ordinance No. 9534, as amended, was adopted on December 9,
1982, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the
contract, project expense, and incidentals from the account
entitled "Major Maintenance - Dinner Key Marina" as set forth
under Section XV, Item BA, of said ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C011MISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The November 16,1983 bid of All Type
Projects, Inc., in the proposed amount of $244,870, for the
project entitled DINNER KEY MARINA - DOCKPIASTER'S OFFICE
RENOVATION, for the base bid of the proposal, based on lump
sum prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. The amount of $244,870 is hereby allocated
from the account entitled"Major Maintenance - Dinner Key Marina"
to cover the cost of said contract.

Section 3. The additional amount of $14,692 is
hereby allocated from the aforesaid fund to cover the cost of
project expense.
Section 4. The additional amount of $4,898 is hereby
allocated from the aforesaid fund to cover the cost of such
incidental items as advertising, testing laboratories, and postage.
Section 5. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract on behalf of The City of Miami with All Type
Projects, Inc. for DINNER KEY MARINA - DOCKMASTER'S OFFICE
RENOVATION, base bid of the proposal.

ENCLOSURES:
The Department of Public Works recommends
adoption of the resolution accepting the
bid received November 16, 1983 of All Type
Projects, Inc, in the amount of $244,870;
and authorizing the City Manager to enter
into a contract on behalf of the City of
Miami for DINNER KEY MARINA - DOCIC4ASTER' S
OFFICE RENOVATION.
Bids were received November 16, 1983 for adding restroom and
shower facilities, a laundry area, maintenance area, as well
as modifications to the existing office, at 3400 Pan American
Drive.
As reflected in the tabulation of bids, the $244,870 bid
of All Type Projects, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid
for the base bid of the proposal.
Funds have been allocated under the "Major Maintenance -
Dinner Key Marina" account for the estimated amount of the
contract, for project expense, and for such items as adver-
tising, testing laboratories, and postage.
Twenty -ore contractors picked up plans and specifications; 6
contractors submitted bids, two of which were minority
Hispanic contractors, he engineer's estimate was $270,000.
