A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $98,144 OF FY-83-84
FEDERAL REVENUE SHAPING FUNDS APPROPRIATED
BY PASSAGE OF ORDINANCE NO. 9684 TO PREVIOUSLY
l APPROVED SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES LISTED HEREIN
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED 1/12TH OF THE TOTAL
RECOMMENDED ALLOCATION TO EACH AGENCY FOR
FY'83-84, FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 1984
THROUGH JANUAP.Y 31, 1984, AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH THE
AFOREMENTIONED AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE CITY
ATTORNEY'S APPROVAL AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has indicated its intent to support certain
social service programs providing service to residents of the City of Miami through
an allocation of Federal Revenue Sharing funds; and
WHEREAS, funds have been previously appropriated by Ordinance No. 9684
to accomplish this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution Nos. 83-875, 83-985 and
83-1085, which provided $264,876 to certain social service agencies to cover the
period October 1, 1983 through December 31, 1983;
FLORIDA:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
Section 1. $98,144 of Federal Revenue Sharing funds previously appro-
priated by Ordinance No. 9684, adopted September 29, 1983, is hereby allocated to
those agencies listed herein in an amount not to exceed 1/12th of the total
recommended allocation to each agency for FY'83-84, for the period January 1, 1984
through January 31, 1984.

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agree-
ment, subject to the City Attorney's approval as to form and correctness, with the
aforementioned agencies to implement respective social service programs, subject
to the conditions and limitations contained herein.
