RESOLUTION NO. I 11
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF ROB -EL CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION AT A
TOTAL COST OF $273,819.10 FOR MANOR HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II (BID "B" - DRAINAGE)
IN MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT -
PHASE II, H-4473
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 24,
1982; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and Rob -El Construction Corporation has furnished the
required documents certifying that all bills for labor
and materials have been paid in full in connection with
the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted
and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Rob -El
Construction Corporation for MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -
PHASE II (Bid "B" - Drainage) in MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT - PHASE II, H-4473, at a total cost of $273,819.10,
is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized to pay $26,778.82 to Rob -El
Construction Corporation as full and final payment for
all work performed and all materials furnished in connection
with MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II (Bid "B" -
Drainage) in MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - PHASE II,
H-4473.

The Department of Public Works recommends the
adoption of the resolution accepting the
completed work and authorizing a final payment
of $26,778.82 to Rob -El Construction Corpora-
tion for MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II
(Bid "B" - Drainage) in MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT - PHASE II, H-4473.
Rob -El Construction Corporation has completed the project con-
sisting of constructing 5,329 feet of 24-inch French drain,
including connecting pipes, catch basins, and manholes, in an
area bounded by N. W. 49-52 Streets between N. W. 7-12 Avenues.
The original contract amount was for $298,599.00, and the
completed amount is $273,819.10. It was completed on time.
The source of funds is "Storm Sewer General Obligation Bond
Funds".
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are
met.
