NOTICE OF
PUBLIC NEARING
A public hearing will be held by the Commission of the City of
Miami, Florida on Thursday, February 9, 1984, at 2:30 P.M. in the City
of Miami Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American
Drive, Miami, Florida. for the purpose of considering a waiver of the
requirement of obtaining sealed competitive bids for the acquisition
by purchase from B & L Associates, Incorporated, the only licensed
marketing agent, of an on-line Disk Pack Management System and
an on-line Job Scheduler and Monitoring System and a one-time
installation training and conversion aid for Burroughs large com-
puter systems at an annual first year proposed cost of $10.012.50 and
resulting in a total proposed cost of $48,474 over four (4) years.
Inquiries from other potential sources of supply who feel that they
might be able to satisfy the City's requirements in the acquisition
may contact Samit Roy, Director, Department of Computers at the

All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard
concerning such proposed waiver and purchase. The hearing will be
held at the time and place specified above.

Miami on Thursday, February 9,1984, at 2:30 P.M., in the City Commission

(11) motorcycle radios, designed for handle bar mounting, from the
only source, the General Electric Company, at a total cost of $29,700.

AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH A PROPOSED CHARTER
AMENDMENT, KNOWN AS CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 2,
AMENDING SUBSECTION 23-A.1(b) OF THE CHARTER OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO PROVIDE FOR AN
INCREASE FROM 5 TO 7 MEMBERS OF THE OFF-STREET
PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND ALSO TO
PROVIDE THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE
