WHEREAS, on March 13, 1984 the electorate will vote on the question of authorizing issuance of $20,00.0,000 Police Head- ouarters and Crime Prevention Facilities General Obligation Bonds; and WHEREAS, the herein ordinance will only become operative upon approval by the electorate of said question; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate at this time to have the City Commission identify certain police sub -station projects as the object of expenditures from bond sale proceeds; and WHEREAS, it is imperative that the City establish police r ;sub -stations having full service capability comparable to that of .: Dade County Regional Police Facility or that of a New York City -f: police precinct station; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE C'I1'Y.,` x OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: a Section 1.
