ORDINANCE NO:_
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A
SPECIAL REVENUE FUND ENTITLED "CITY OF
MIAMI CONVENTION BUREAU EXTENDED
PROMOTIONAL, ACTIVITIES" FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PROVIDING FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF
$309000 TO PAY FOR .ONGOING EXPENSES AND
OTHER RELATED COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH
SELLING THE CITY OF MIAMI TO PROSPECTIVE
MEETING PLANNERS AS A PRESENT AND FUTURE
CONVENTION SITE, WITH REVENUES THEREFOR
AVAILABLE FROM INDIVIDUAL AREA HOTELS,
RESTAURANTS, TRANSPORTATION LINES,
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS, AND OTHER RELATED
BUSINESSES; CONTAINING A REPEALER
PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
BE I "ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,

Section 1. The following Special Revenue Fund is hereby

emergency measure on the grounds of urgent public need for,

Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordinance on
' two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not

less than four -fifths of the members of the Commission. ,<f
