HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-09795AMENDMENT No. 8 TO ORDINANCE NO. 9684 ORDINANCE NO, 9 7 19,5 ,AN gMtAdtNCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4 AND 6 OF ORDINANCE No, 9684 ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 29# 19831, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 931PTEMBER 30, 1984, By APPROPRIATING ' FROM THE BUILDING AND VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DEART- 1 M=Tj HEAVY EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE DIVISION, VY 183 RETAINED EARNINGS, AN AMOUNT OF $94,311; IN= CREASING ANTICIPATED REVENUES IN THE SAME AMOUNT TO BE APPROPRIATED INTO THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR DIVISION TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTARY FUNDING FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SYSTEM,* CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted ordinance No. 9684 on September 29, 1983, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City of Miami# Florida# - for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Vehicle Maintenance estimates - that a total of $140,000 will be required from the Office of the Director. Division to fund implementation of the motor Vehicle Maintenance System; WHEREAS, $45,689 is currently available in the office of the Director Div ision budget for the aforementioned purpose; and WHEREAS, an additional $94,311 is needed to meet the total require- ment of $140,000 for the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Maintenance System and is available from the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Division, FY 083 Retained Earnings; Now THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF.
