RESOLUTION NO, 84-10
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $100000 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND
ACCOUNTS, QUALITY OF LIFE FUND, IN
SUPPORT OF THE MIAMI GRAND PRIX FOLKLORE
FESTIVAL TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 19, 1984,
WITH PROCEEDS OF SAID FESTIVAL BEING
DISTRIBUTED TO: (A) THE SWITCHBOARD OF
MIAMI; (B) THE LITTLE HAVANA NUTRITIONAL
CENTER: AND (C) THE URBAN LEAGUE; SAID
ALLOCATION IS CONDITIONED UPON FULL
COMPLIANCE WITH ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY
MANUAL 1-841 DATED JANUARY 24, 1984,
WHEREAS, representatives of the Miami Grand Prix
Folklore Festival have requested the assistance of the City
of Miami in conducting a cultural event on February 19, 1984;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission approved Motion No. 84-54,
on January 19, 1984, authorizing the expenditure of an amount
not to exceed $10,000 in support of this event;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. An amount not to exceed $10,000 is hereby
allocated from Special Programs and Accounts, Quality of Life
Fund, in support of the Miami Grand Prix Folklore Festival,
to be held February 19, 1984, with proceeds from the said
event being distributed to: (a) The Switchboard of Miami, (b)
The Little Havana Nutritional Center, and (c) The Urban
League.
Section 2. The herein allocation is conditioned upon
compliance with City of Miami Administrative Policy Manual
1-84, dated January 24, 1984.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of February , 1984.

fied, approved, and confirmed, with proceeds
to be distributed to: A) The Switchboard of
Miami; B) The Little Havana Nutritional
Center; and C) The Urban League, as per the
attached resolution.
The City Commission, via Motion 84-54, authorized an allocation
not to exceed $10,000 to the Miami Grand Prix Folklore Festival.
This charitable event is scheduled on February 19, prior to the
Miami Grand Prix, and has designated proceeds to be distributed
to: A) The Switchboard of Miami; B) The Little Havana Nutritional
Center;, and C) The Urban League.
It is, therefore, recommended that this allocation be formally
ratified, approved, and confirmed as per the attached resolution.
