HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-84-0145J-84-53 0 11 RESOLUTION NO. 84-~145 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CONST;,'.ICTION OF PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT IN PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVE- MENT DISTRICT SR-5450-5 (SIDELINE SENTER); AND REMOVING ALL PENDING LIENS FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT NOT HEREBY CERTIFIED WHEREAS, the Commission of The City of Miami, Florida met on the 9th day of February, 1984, pursuant to due legal notice of said meeting under Section 56 of the City Charter, as amended, to receive all written objections to the confirmation of the preliminary assess- ment roll for the cost of PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5450-S (sideline sewer) on the following streets: bounded by S. W. 22 Street (Coral Way), S. W. 26 Street, S. la. 27 Avenue, and S. W. 37 Avenue. WHEREAS, no objections thereto by any person interested in, or affected by, said assessments were sus- tained by the Commission, and said assessment roll appeared, in all respects, regular and in accordance with the require- ments and provisions of the City Charter, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the prima facie assessments, as apportioned and indicated on the preliminary assessment roll for PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5450-S (sideline sewer) be, and they are hereby, in all things, confirmed and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground described therein. That the sums and amounts assessed against each of the lots or parcels of ground in said preliminary assessment roll are less than the amount that each of the said lots or parcels of ground is especially benefited by said improvement and that such amounts are in proportion to the special benefits that the property received. Section 3. That the total assessment cost of said PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5450-S (sideline sewer) in the amount of $131,079.30 be, and the same is hereby, approved and confirmed. Section 4. That any pending lien in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5450-S (sideline sewer) for sanitary sewer improvements not appearing in the preliminary assessment roll and not certified hereby, be, and the same is hereby, cancelled and removed. Cather Director of Publ' c Tvorks DATE January 17, 1984 �,LE B-5450 SUa,s�- PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5450-C&S - Resolutions Confirming Assessment Rolls 4EFEPENCES ` y (For Commission Meeting ENCLOSURES of February 9, 1984 The Department of Public Works recommends tho_ adoption of the attached resolutions confirming the preliminary assessment rolls for PINES SANITARY SE14ER IMPROVEMENT in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5450-C&S (centerline and sideline sewers). Construction of PINES SANITARY SEWER I:PROVEMENT in PINES SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5450-C&S (centerline and sideline sewers) has been completed, and the preliminary assessment rolls for this improvement are ready to be presented to the Commission for confirmation. The construction of this sanitary sewer improvement was on the following streets: bounded by S. W. 22 Street (Coral Way), S. W. 26 Street, S. W. 27 Avenue, and S. W. 37 Avenue, The total assessment cost of the centerline sewers amounted to $1,569,354.83, and the total assessment cost of the sideline sewers amounted to $131,079.30. A public hearing is scheduled for February 9, 1984 to hear objections to confirmation of the assessment rolls. If no objections are sustained, it will be in order for the Commission to adopt the resolutions confirming the assessment rolls.
