A RFSOLUrION EXPRESSING THF_ 1)FLPE51
SYMPATHY AND SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE
CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI AND ITS CITIZENS TO THE: FAMILY AND
FRIENDS OF MIAMI BEACH POI_ ICE OF"F ICER
DONALD B. KRAMER UPON HIS DEATH.
WHEREAS, Miami Beach Police Officer Donald B. Kramer had
served with distinction as a City of Miami Beach Police
Officer for 3 Years years before beinq shot. while makinq an
arrest in that City; and
WHEREAS, Officer Kramer died from his wound on
February 24, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Officer Kramer was at tempt.inq to make his
community a safer place to live when he made his supreme
sacrifice at the aqe of 42; and
WHEREAS, Officer Kramer was a public spirited citizen
who served as a $1.00 a year voluntary Miami Beach Auxiliary
Police Officer for years; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission, on
behalf of the City of Miami and its citizens, to express its
deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Donald B.
Kramer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 'I. The City Commission hereby conveys to the
family and friends of Miami Beach Police Officer Donald B.
Kramer its deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences, on
behalf of the citizens of the City of Miami, upon his tragic
death.
Section 2. This Resolution is offered by the City
Commission as a token of its respect and esteem.
