A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE AUDITORIUM
OF THE MIAMI EDISON SENIOR HIGH -COMMUNITY
SCHOOL, 6161 NW 5 T H COURT, MIAMI,
FL0RIDA, AS THE MEETING PLACE Of THE
MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ON NOVEMBER 8, 1984
AT 3:00 P.M. WHEN THE CITY COMMISSION
SHALL RECONVENE ITS REGULAR MEETING OF
NOVEMBER 8, 1984 FOLLOWING A RECESS IN
SAID MEETING 13ETWE.EN 1 :00 P.M. AND 3:00
P.M.; SAID 14EETING HAVING CONVENED AT
9:00 A.M. ON SAID DATE IN THE CHAMBERS OF
THE CITY COMMISSION AT CITY HALL, DINNER
KEY, MIAMI, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has long recognized the
need for its meetings to be held at locations throughout the
City representative of most of the community neighborhoods
which are not in close proximity to City Hall at Dinner Key;
and
WHEREAS, Code Section 2-12 expressly authorizes the
designation of alternate meeting places from time to time as
may appear appropriate to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The regular meeting of the City Commission
scheduled for November 89 1984 shall be convened at 9:00 A.M.

in its Chambers on the first floor of the City Hall located

at Dinner Key, Miami, Florida, whereupon said meeting shall
be in recess between 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M. and reconvene at
3:80 P.M. in the Auditorium of the Miami Edison Senior

High -Community School, 6161 NW 5th Court, Miami, Florida.
Section 2. Matters to be considered at this City
Commission meeting shall be generally limited to those'
