The City's response is located on each page, to the right of the Task Force Recommendations. The assignment of a representative of your staff to supervise the implementation of proposed projects and programs is recommended. Gary City Manager DATE: FILE: SUBJECT: City's Response to East Little Havana Task Force Recommendations REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: As requested at the July 289 1983 meeting, the following is the City's response to the Task Force Recommendations of July 25, 1983• The Task Force requested: 1. That the City specify which projects will be implemented. For this purpose, see attached recommendations. 2. That an Assistant City Manager be assigned to supervise implementation of Task Force Recommendations. Mr. Walter Pierce is hereby appointed to assist in this task. 3. That the City Commission appoint an East Little Havana Citizen's Committee to monitor implementation of the recommendations.
