J.7 City Hall Renovations
As requested, I have inspected the offices occupied
by Commissioners Dawkins, Plummer and Carollo, with
the objective of increasing their office space.
I have prepared two possible solutions that I will
review with the City Commission at their meeting
on April 26, 1984. Both plans present some pro-
blems and inequities in distribution, du:' to current
configuration.
One plan requires the elimination of both the men
and women rest rooms adjacent to the Commissioners'
offices which the Fire, Rescue & Inspe..tion Service
Department agree can be done. Commissioner Plummer's
area, due to its physical location, becomes the most
difficult office to add space.
It would appear the ideal solution to this ever pre-
sent problem may be to relocate ► }ze Commissioners
during which time a complete remodelling effort can
take place, designed to better utilize and distri-
bute equally the Commissioners' office facilities.
