At the April 6 Commission Meeting, Commissioner Dawkins had
questions about Agenda Item 102, which was a resolution accept-
ing completed work in Hadley
issioneroDawkiby ntserequest Corporation.
The item was pulled at Comm
The questions*Commissioners Dawkins and Plummer raised about
Hadley Park basically concerned design and/or the choices made
as to what work was to be done with the monies available. The
questions..are answered in a separate attached memorandum.
The purpose of this memorandum is to alert you that both the
project that was pulled from the agenda on April 6 and the one
recently completed by the L.G.H. Corporation in Charles Hadley
Park are both partially funded by a Federal Grant. We have been
informed by John Baldwin that April 26 is absolutely the latest
thorize final payment
date we can finally accept the work and
to the contractor and not jeopardize full receipt of the grant
funds. Accordingly, I am requesting that acceptance of the work
and final payment to the P.N.M. Corporation for Charles Hadley
Park Miscellaneous Improvements - Tennis Courts,
and to L.G.H. Corporation for Charles Hadley Park Redevelopment
be taken up at the April 26 Planning and Zoning Board Meeting.
